TreeHouse Antiques and the Gail Pierson Gallery Off Campus present: For the Birds, Paintings by Peg Dittmar
Birds caught in elegant poses. The fine brushstrokes supplying the feathers’ detail. Paintings that evoke Audubon. Welcome to For the Birds, Paintings by Peg Dittmar.
Peg’s fascination with wildfowl painting began in Key West, where the birds, arriving at the dock for food, would be close enough for intimate photographs. Coming every day, these birds eventually became virtual pets, allowing Peg to further study their intricacies. Thus began her passion for painting these striking creatures.
